I think I made mistake by making contaract with Sofie. She makes more trobles for me. She always asking about everything in the castle. When I first saw her, I thought she is the one who is going to realize me form my spell, but I think I was wrong. Oneday, she wanted to make a breakfast, and she used me to make a fire, even though I didn't wanted to. I think I couldn't do anything to stop her. However, It seems that Howl likes her. He alwasy accept her questions and requests. That day when she cleaned the castle, I told her that wasn't needed, but she wouldn't listen to me. Actually, she wanted to impress Howl.

Sophie's viewpoint - Ch 1,2,3

I think that I am doomed to failure because I am the eldest one of all the three girls. Fanny doesn’t have any respect to me. She used me t work for her in the hat’s shop to fulfill her needs with the money. I think Fanny isolated me by keeping me working for her as an apprentice with no wage. I think I am not attractive as Martha. Customers always asking for her even I am better than her in making hats. When I visited Martha, I didn’t believe what she said about Fanny attitude toward me. However, when I asked Fanny again for my wage she ignored my request. I felt discontented after that, and I compelled to seek my fortune.

My journey to seek fortune started when the Witch of the Waste visited our shop. She put me under a spell. All my body was wrinkled, and I found my self that I had to hobble. I accepted that because this is much more like I really am. After that I decided to leave Fanny without any specific destination. While I was traveling, I found Wizard Howl’s castle. I entered the castle, and I found a fire. I made a contract with the fire to break my spell, and I agree to bargain.
